A Journey Like Corn Seeds…

I was waiting for my midday tea outside of the kitchen. Ammi was busy in the kitchen to make some snacks for me. She found nothing but corn.

When I saw these corn seeds, I think of their nature. How hard they seem to be. But a lil-warmth temperature can make it yummy, healthy and a perfect tea partner (at least for me).

This is how I felt on the very first week of joining the Amal Academy.

Since my childhood, destiny always plans for me to live with my mom. Aside from going outside to Institute/school, I used to live at home. This makes me somewhat reluctant to interact with new peoples.

On the very first session, I felt scared about how hard it will be for me to interact with my fellows. I felt that this journey will be going to be harder for me than any situation before.

But, then I received the email of Project Work and found the outline interesting for me. Since January 2019, I used to learn online from Udemy and edX. I took and complete many courses and love their teaching strategies. But I never had the experience given by Amal Academy and didn’t think that these topics could be taught this way.

The first two weeks played an important role in changing my perception. I learned about myself for the first time. I get a clear vision of the things that are important to me and learned about the traits I possess.

Before this, I didn’t know that I have a soft heart for humanity xD. I used to think of myself as a caring person for my family (only). But, in the first two weeks of this fellowship, I came to know that I’m really a soft-hearted and kind person (:-p)

The experience was unique for me. But I no longer think of this as hard for me. I used to think it like somewhat strange but worthy of time and concentration. However, throughout the fellowship, I used to remain a silent beauty (;-P) with late submissions of PW.

Thanks for reading.
